This month's Hertel Summer Series theme is Flannel & Football! Let's use that energy and welcome in all things Fall as we join forces with Wine on Hertel for their 3rd Annual Fall Fest.
This collab puts an exciting twist on the HSS: The first update is for September's event, it will be on a Saturday, the 30th from 5pm to 9pm. Secondly, Hertel will be closed for vendors between Norwalk and Saranac from 3pm to 10pm to allow time for set up and tear down. The Summer Series will still be happening all along the Avenue with one band in the closed area and the rest stationed along the way. The HSS map will be populated and active for the whole stretch of Hertel from Main to Delaware as usual. NOTE the change from previous months: this is a SATURDAY event from 5pm to 9pm
If you are a Hertel Business and would like to set up a vending booth in the Fall Fest section from Norwalk to Saranac, we welcome you to sign up as a vendor! If you just wish to participate as usual from your storefront, please fill out the form on this page and select "Participating Business on Hertel staying open late" when "cashing out" to assure your spot on the map. If you do not fill out the participation form in this method, your business will not be listed on the map or website.
If you are a Vendor looking to set up in the street from Norwalk to Saranac, the fee is $100. If you are a Hertel Business Association Member, vendor fee is $75. This vendor fee includes the City of Buffalo permit fee and a 10' x 10' space on the street. We will fill out the city permit and submit it for you! You will need to bring your own set up: tables, signage, pop-up tent, etc. There will not be access to electricity from the street so please come self sufficiently if you need power. If you are a food vendor, you will need a certificate of liability insurance which names the Hertel Business Association as an additional insured party. The address is P.O. Box 3 Buffalo NY 14207. This is a vendor application, we reserve the right to deny a vendor application and will refund the money immediately if it doesn't meet event requirements or mission.
NOTE: Anyone that participated in last year's October Halloween and Artisans market as a vendor is encouraged to join us at HSS x Fall Fest this year! We will not be closing the street for vendors for both events in 2023 as to not disrupted the neighborhood twice in a few weeks time. Halloween on Hertel will be Saturday October 28th without the street closing, for trick or treating.
To purchase vendor spot, select in the drop down which option you would like, fill out the form, submit. If you prefer to pay by check you can make it out to Hertel Business Association and drop it off to Daisy's Doghouse, Spoke & Dagger Co, or Wine on Hertel.
